Next up is the rearranged fixture with Preston.

Preston are home to Burnley in the FA Cup Fifth Round next Saturday 1 March before they play us at home the following Tuesday 4 March and then they are away to Sheff Utd on Saturday 8 March, so a tough sequence of matches within a seven day period for them.

Preston have a strong home record W6 D9 L2.

The two teams that have won there this season are Sheff Utd 0-2 on 9 Aug and Bristol City 1-3 on 2 Nov.

Leeds, Burnley, Sunderland, Blackburn and West Brom of the top six could only draw there.

In the reverse fixture on 17 Aug we won 3-0, Vipotnik, Abdulai and a Grimes penalty.

Rejuvenated after a change of head- coach and a morale boosting win over top six side Blackburn on Saturday, the Swans will have a ten day break to prepare for this one.

Swans 10 points away from bottom three, 11 points from a play-off position.
Cardiff 5 points away from us, with four teams in between.
Cardiff lost 1-2 at home to Burnley, Hull beat Plymouth 2-0, huge win for Hull.
