WTF that is ridiculous if true. He went down badly on saturday for the pen, looked like he'd cracked a rib or something. Good old McGinn helped him up but he was in pain. If he then played a friendly next day in liverpool that is beyond ridiculous

We will know it's true when on Friday Deano does his Jack and now Ollie style fit not fit injury update. 'Training' means playing not playing, 'close' means playing but not playing. See how he is means definitely not playing. Assess in training means not playing. Leg hanging off means playing.

Groin strains need treeting with care, and I imagine groin ops do too. Add to that not being fully fit due to layoff, and playing twice in two days is crazy. IMO.
