Bournemouth and Wolves are better than us.

Their wingers are absolutely miles better. They find space ours don't, they put crosses into the box which ours don't, and they have players actually in the box to meet us, which we usually don't.

We are actually very predictable most of the time and it is very rare than one of our wingers actually beats his fullback.

We had a better defence and a better striker than Wolves but in DCM and attacking midfield we couldn't hold a candle to them. And we were at home remember. And let's not even go there with fullback. I am not sure our fullbacks would definitely get in at promotion chasers in the championship.

We are better in the middle than Bournemouth but their wingers are ludicrously dangerous, as they showed at Everton, their central defence just as good and their keeper better.

not sure I really agree. yesterday wood was in the box when he scored- not unusually. but just taking the above you rate us as better in some areas and worse in others. not sure we aren't dancing on the head of a pin here. they have been in the PL for longer but imo we edge them in potential. many of our players are still developing, not much in it as the games and the table demonstrate imo.

reasons to be cheerful
Miguel is better than sels.
we have options for FB positions and depth to play 3 at the back.
we are less leaky.

I do get the reasons not to be cheerful- 4pts dropped, not taking enough of our chances or able to hold a lead but I still think, at this early stage, more reasons to be cheerful.

What did you have?
It was Turkish. The food was nice, they were just much smaller helpings than they should have been. Mind you, we live near Green Lanes, the epicentre of proper Turkish food on the UK, and this was out in Hertfordshire, so less competition. A bit like being Aina before Moreno came.

There were times he was good good his ball retention is ridiculous. He'll pick someone's pocket them pass it out for a throw in

he's the adebola of dcm. I do think he will come good with more playing time tho. I'm not counting last season at all, he is still a new player coming in as far as I'm concerned. finding who works best with him also makes a difference. it could be anyone out of anderson/jwp/yates

I know Green Lanes: used to live up Turnpike Lane...proper shit hole, mind!

Once had a police chopper a few feet above our place.
Turns out someone/dealer had escaped the po-po and decided it was a great idea to hide in our front garden, whilst the helo used its IR camera to find the fellow.

Police cordoned off our street, and we werent allowed out...all the while the chap just crouched at prayed that all of the commotion was NOTHING to do with him.

Haha, smackheads.

Soon after leaving, there was also a gun fight along Green Lanes, at the local Iceland.
Saturday afternoon, full of shoppers.
Luckily no collatarel damage...absolutely mental area.

Great food, and great bunch of lads...discounting the smack trade.

Do you think wolves or Bournemouth will be relegated this season?

We were the better team and should have beaten both of them

What are you worried about?

We weren't the better team when we played them last season. They were both better than us.

We are better than them or at least as good as them now and when we play them away we will be expecting a point at least

Would you swap squads with either one of those teams?
I was responding to a poster who was suggesting by drawing with mid table teams we would be roughly mid table . The Jury is very much out for me.

It feels right now that Wood is actually hitting his prime a little later in his career. Perhaps he'll be a Vardy or Sheringham who can carry on well into their 30s

I thought yesterday was the best performance I've seen him do at home. Newcastle away you have to say was his best overall.

Great all round striker performance linking everything up

And it's a real sign of his fitness and energy and application that Nuno moved him to centre mid last 10 mins when he brought Taiwo on rather than sub him direct

Spoke brilliantly after the game as well. Saying we are playing well, controlling games but want better results.

15m proving an inspired spend after all

As I put the other day, in terms of chance conversion, Wood was the best striker in Europe last season, and has the best statistics in the Premier League since Opta started doing statistics, which was 20 years ago.

So all these people who are upset because Forest did not sign a striker also need to factor in that Forest have, in chance conversion terms, the best striker in the division. Which good players are going to think that they can displace him?

I remember being excited about the signing. The stats dont lie. Cooper got it completely wrong with him.

I would like to see Anderson and Gibbs White in the middle. Both have good engines, both have good football intelligence. If we go 3 at the back, I think it could work, or go 4-1-4-1

Suits our system as well the way he links with players now. Simple stuff but effective

But even more so if we find a role for JWP

Because we are generally shite at crossing

Just severely lacking in height if we lose sangare and Yates as defence and wingers not big either

Just leaves wood and Milo

Or add boly on of 3 at back as you say?

But surely we aren't paying huge JWP wages to be a sub ?

Just finished watching Match of the Day. Notice that we are dead last on MOTD for the third week in a row. Thanks lads.

The early incident with Neco Williams was even worse than it looked in the ground.

Just watch Milenkovic. Pointing to where Williams wanting to go and then gesturing with anger when Williams lets his man go straight through. That body language by Milenkovic says it all. It was basic stuff.

And seeing the replay i am even more convinced that Miguel has a chance of saving that shot
Yes, MOTD like putting us on last.

Miguel looked good against Newcastle, but I don't see him saving the shot. Great strike to be fair.

Some shots no keepers have a chance with

I've still not seen the replay

But from my angle at the ground it looked unstoppable

Sels at full stretch and not even close to it
