What was disappointing for me was that we were absolutely no further forward yesterday.

In actual fact, I think we were probably better towards the end of last season.

Defensive unit- shit

Set piece delivery? Shit

Set piece defending? Shit

Shooting in target? Shit

Finishing? Shit.

Sangare was better, CHO and MGW were worse.

Nuno had had them all summer, a full pre season and he's been in charge for 9 months. I see no progression on key weaknesses

We are a better footballing side, in matches more- no dispute there and he managed that almost right away.

Wood has thrived.

But I expected the team to come back fitter, better drilled, better organised and more cohesive.

They were no better drilled.

Embarrassingly organised at set pieces

And fucked after 70 mins while Bournemouth stepped up

This how I saw it to, with a couple of other positives in Sangare and Elanga

Need a CB, LB and goalie. All before another CF IMO

Get the back right for this season and build from there
Ramsdale or Kelleher, Bijol and Truffert

Likely be Moreno no CB and possibly Ramsdale on loan

It's also easy to forget the impact on the players focus and mindset for the remainder of the game. Professionals yes, but still human. The crowd were impacted by it, you could feel it in the stadium.
