Zinch gets beaten every now and then by top quality wingers but he's an intelligent, tidy player and underrated on here IMO.
Savona is absolutely fine but with no obviously strong fullback subs we will miss Zinch.
In the games I've seen, he gets beaten every single time by every winger.

I don't think he stopped a single Porto player before he went off injured. He injured himself in the process of letting his man past yet again

Definitely he is a liability.

He was the same at arsenal
He is. It's no surprise he isn't wanted by arsenal or city anymore.

He's not good enough without the ball but he's very good in possession.
From what we've seen of Savona, he is not as good going forward with the ball but better in defence.

But my point was really about not having him or Aina now, so beyond the obvious starters of Williams and Savona we're looking very thin and will miss him. We all knew we would be short there, back at the start of the season.

If I was Forest come January, and with Cuibano coming in, I'd look to sell Sangare, and offload/loan/sell Gunn, Boly, Abbott, Taiwo, play Zinch in CM and loan/buy another LB.

We need to trim the squad a bit. Ola will be back in December before he fucks off to AFCON, but I feel we are another FB short.

In fairness we do have 5 full backs although one was sent on loan till the new year. That’s cover for each full back position.

I would trim the squad but not till the summer unless we need some money in quickly.

Ps I see you are doing well in the fantasy league. Well done.

I agree with you, but we can make some easy exits when it comes to Boly, Gunn, and loaning out Abbott. I do think we need another fullback, but if we could end Zinchenko's loan and loan a more suitable option, I'd do that.

We are getting Ola and Cuibano back, so, maybe thats enough. In terms of summer, with the World Cup, if we need to sell before June 30th to avoid some issues, then we may be forced to try and make a sale or 2 in January, as I cannot see much transfer activity globally until mid July onwards

Little activity globally, interesting stuff.

What do you think the net premiership spend will be in January?

Under £500m?
