Premier League Match Thread: Bournemouth Vs Nottingham Forest, sponsored by the Halloween Boogeyman

Random manner? It was dictated by circumstances. Murillo didn’t play a full game because of injury he was also unavailable for three/ four games. Morato had to play fullback as Zinc was unavailable and Savona unable to complete 90 mins. Williams played right then left then right for several games before finishing on left. These changes were not decided by optional choice but dictated by circumstance. It was blatantly untrue to suggest it was a random manner favoured by Ange.

I would agree it is early days for the Dyche team re sticking with same team or rotating but Dyche has already had the advantage of no game for a week and an opportunity to get all on training ground.

Proverbial kick up the arse more than needed. Far too many players letting us and themselves down.
Problem is, if MGW, Murillo, CHO, Ndoye, Jesus, Luiz etc can't be bothered/having a mardy, even a kick up the arse may not have the desired effect - its not like their coin is gonna be affected for subjectivity ineffectual performances.

The back-ups aren't proven, in spite of the money spent.

Would we really want to have a midfield of Yates+Anderson (obvs, Anderson is different gravy and destined for another team next season, so not questioning his desire or application and obvs not his ability)...but if the attacking starters can't be arsed, can Dyche really play anyone else?

Would we trust a front line of McAtee, Bakwa, Hutchinson and Kaliemuendo if a positive result is needed vs Man U?

Whatever is demotivating them may be a existential issue beyond any manager: bar Nuno.

Laying down the law/going old school spit and sawdust may not work with overpaid prima donnas.

I’ve never said that have I . I’ve referenced a purple patch which has got the likes of you all excited with huge expectations . We are simply reverting to the mean in pure statistical terms. This shouldn’t be a surprise .
So when do Bournemouth revert to the mean ? By suggesting this you are reinforcing the notion that the top 6 are entrenched in the upper echelons of the Premier league. EM won't accept that, do you ? We beat Liverpool at Anfield, Man U home and away and Man City at home. For the love of football there has to be a way of upsetting the apple cart, otherwise what is the point of meaningful competition, that is anathema to the top 6.

Totally irrelevant

The circumstances you point out are true.

So is the fact that Ange thought it was acceptable for Milo to be on the right wing and doing cruyff turns in the penalty area
For Zinchenko to be placed in CM more often than LB
For wood to be a bystander in our attacking play

Ange was and is clueless

So what you're saying is that status and quality of current players have no influence on the recruitment process?
Im questioning whether those who show effort and desire e.g. Yates delivers the requisite quality in midfiled vs Man United.

Luiz can't be arsed, and conversely needs a "kick up the bhatti".

The strongest response to players being mardarses is to drop them and promote the reserve: problem is, are our reserves strong enough to win us enough points to avoid relegation?

Evidence would suggest not, given the number of minutes Kalimuendo, McAtee, Hutchinson etc have played.

So, what can be done? CHO, MGW, Jesus, Luiz, Murillo, Milenkovic are all moping and depressed.
No matter the tough love or stick vs carrot, the management want to employ, it all could ultimately lead to naught.

What then, drop them all and promote the reserves to win us games vs Man U, Leeds etc...or allow the first teamers to keep playing and hope they snap out of their stupour?

That's not at all what could be read from your comment on my post.

Why didn't you write that (above) in the first place?

You've got a strange way of approaching conversations.
Best work on it. Not the trying, can tell you're trying, just the content.

All the best.

But can it get you from London to Edinburgh too chap?

There are two known planets where it can; planet black gold and planet Jimmy. However, on planet jimmy it can only get you to Edinburgh from London if chat gpt has told Jimmy its ok first.

Zinch gets beaten every now and then by top quality wingers but he's an intelligent, tidy player and underrated on here IMO.
Savona is absolutely fine but with no obviously strong fullback subs we will miss Zinch.
