Ok, time for a good percentage of you to put your head in the sand again as this 'wonderful' thing sharia law comes up again.

This time, a pregnant Christian woman has been sentenced to death for Apostasy but not before receiving 100 lashes for adultery.

If she converts to Islam, her 'sentence' could be annulled or reduced.....

Agreed Kefkat. These idiots prefer living in the middle ages. The you see what is happening in East London and in our prisons on Panarama on Monday evening and the way they infest everywhere, with the do-gooders burying their heads in the sand, it will be here within 10 years if we're not careful.....

Never be here Pride I do agree were trying to get on side with the law abiding Muslims so that they disown the radicals so they get exposed more easily.But Sharia Law will never become the law of the land the peace loving Muslims disagree with it themselves only the scum part of the faith want to confront us about it.

That's not really true or fair, it suggests censorship and that isn't how the forum is run, we have alerts.

You give strong opinions, you will get strong opinions (both sides of argument ) back because you are opening up a debate.

I don't believe sharia law will ever come here, not the main bits you are talking about, if they tried the left, the middle, the right and the righteous would rise up against it, no doubt at all.

As gator says, there are plenty of Muslims, a massive majority, also against sharia law.

I agree with gator, there are plenty of decent muslims. However, as I have said in the past on different threads it is the islamists that we have to watch.

Talking of watching, if you watch Monday nights' Panarama (it is on iPlayer) regarding radicalisation of some prisons within the prison system, you will see what concerns me greatly.

Also, I was not suggesting censorship. What I was suggesting is my outage at what is happening on the link and my disgust with these Islamic freaks.

At the time of my posting this thread my blood was boiling, I was fuming, hence I had to stop before I may of typed something I might later regret.

Later, I had calmed down and replied to Kefkat's post and now, still calmer I am responding here.

Finally, I still have a concern that sharia law is a danger. It had been suggested earlier in the year I believe by some 'muslim' councillors that some parts of sharia law be introduced into our laws. It was rejected of course, but as the numbers grow and the increase of radicals in the UK it is a cause for concern which should be snipped at the bud before it is too late.

So yes, strong opinions and I'm happy to read strong opinions in response. No problem.

I'm in a better frame of mind than most I guess, I think the quicker the human race is run, the better, so can't be worrying about how stupid mankind regularly is! Lol

No one is doubting that there are hard liners and extremists but they are, as is usual in most groups of peole, thankfully in the minority. We need to maintain goid relations with the regular, more moderate muslims to avoid pushing more over the cliff towards radicalism.
 
I have taken the link, POL, onto my Church fellowship community for prayers into this situation. It has really weighed heavily on my heart since I read this.

Words can not sum up the utter revulsion I feel over this.

I don't care if others read this and scoff. It works for us to pray for others and is harming no one.

Yes VOTN I am. Muslims in general are muslims. Islamic extremists/Jihadists are the dangerous ones. Generally the majority of Muslims embrace our Western culture and we have no problems with them. It is the muslims who adopt the more extreme views, converting the weak and brainwashing them into the extremist/Jihadist ideals which are on the increase that we have to worry about.

Remember that Robert.... can't remember his surname - the shoe bomber?, he was brainwashed into this crap. And as I said, Panarama opens your eyes to what is going on in the prison system where brainwashing the easily lead is rife.

I didn't see the Panorama documentary POL, however I have read an article in the media sometime ago about this. It is true what is going on in our prisons, that the extremists are signing up young vulnerables. It's been going on for years.

Everyone who has got problems with their bowls (mistake intended) and needs prayer let me know :19:

I will pray for a toilet to always be near you all, that Andrex dogs are provided and that the diarrhea at VP that is a weekly occurrence will be healed
