We will once again be running the prediction competition in the championship for the 2018/19 season.
The Thames Valley Whites regional supporters club are sponsoring the event.
Prizes:
overall winner - New replica shirt for the 2018/19 season.
Leader at midnight 2018 into 2019.
*Spot prizes - Leading point scorer weekly round and most points during a round of results over the season.
*To give everyone an interest throughout the season. Spot weekly prizes will be chosen at random by The Thames Valley Whites (UltraLeeds). Everyone will know ahead of the round.
Rules
For those that have not taken part before, I will want score predictions for all Championship fixtures throughout the season and a list will be put up for each week after the previous weekend's games.
You also need to predict separately on all games involving Leeds, where I will want goalscorer, crowd and time of the first goal with points awarded for the nearest five.
If you are ever going away and will miss a few weeks then please feel free to PM me with some predictions and I can put them up when the fixtures go up.
If for some reason you don't get your predictions on (i.e site down), you have a full week usually to get your predictions on the site so it is your own fault.
SCORE PREDICTIONS
I will be putting score predictions up for all championship games throughout the season, including midweek.
Score prediction points:
•Correct result and score - 5 points
•Correct result and one score correct - 3 points
•Correct result and correct GD - 3 points
•Correct result - 2 points
•Incorrect result and one score correct - 1 point
•Incorrect result and correct GD - 1 point
•None of the above - 0 points
GOALSCORER
You need to pick a player from either team in the games involving Leeds.
Goal scorer points - either team (subject to change):
•Scorer scores first goal - 5 points
•Scorer scores 2nd goal - 4 points
•Scorer scores 3rd goal - 3 points
•Scorer scores 4th goal - 2 points
•Scorer scores 5th (or later) goal - 1 point
*Ten bonus points if your chosen player scores a hat-trick.
*You can change your goalscorer before kick off if selected player is not starting/in the squad.
FIRST GOAL TIME (Time will be whatever the Leeds official website publish)
Just pick the minute of when you think the first goal will be scored by either side in the games involving Leeds.
First goal time points (subject to change):
•Closest - 5 points
•2nd closest - 4 points
•3rd closest - 3 points
•4th closest - 2 points
•5th closest - 1 point
*If the game finishes 0-0 then no points are awarded.
*No changes can be made once the first one has been submitted.
PREDICT THE CROWD
Predict the gate of Leeds games, home and away.
Predicted crowd size points (*subject to change):
•Closest - 5 points
•2nd closest - 4 points
•3rd closest - 3 points
•4th closest - 2 points
•5th closest - 1 point
**If exactly right, you will get a 25 point bonus.
*No changes can be made once the first one has been submitted.
Please don't edit your original posts. If you want to change something, except crowd and first goalscorer time, then do it on a separate post.
Anyone editing a post could have their predictions discarded for that round.
