Incidentally, we need to average 9,687 per game until the end of the season to take our average above 9,000 for the first time since 1959-60 when the Imps were in the Second Division.

It would be only the fifteenth time that has been achieved since attendances were first officially recorded in 1925.

We will probably just miss out this season, but I think there’s a good chance we’ll manage it next ??
