Pre season

Just seen that you can watch all pre season games via official site Forest TV, but they're charging £24.99 which is all well & good but I pay £5.99 pcm for next to nothing anyway as the club seem to put most stuff on You tube.
You do get RN commentary, but don't really need that facility these days & they still take your money in the off season for absolutely nothing in return.
Bit of nerve really to charge for these games, but they know people like me are daft enough to just pay up

Completely agree, you'd think they could let monthly subscribers watch the preseason games as, like you say, there's really naff all else you get from Forest TV.

its a nice option for folk. id be tempted. tho nicer if was a basic fiver a game, yeah didnt get the value in forest tv without streaming

Todays game is about fitness for some, familiarity for others, trials and tests for others and maybe set up but doubt that.

With Vlach gone and Sels and Turner on holiday post internationals goalkeeping will be between Miguel and Bott. Both are worth watching. Bott is rated and who can miss the big guy.

Williams will be glad to stretch his legs after missing the tail end of last season. Possibly have half a game with new face Silva. Powell could be given a chance at left back as could Richards.

Murillo and Omab in central defence.

Sangare pre season will be key. Should get at least an hour. Anderson May get a short run out. Interesting to see if Dominguez is named or remains in recovery.

Woods and Awoniyi have just got back from respective countries. One may get a run out, probably Awoniyi. Onsong may get a chance to show as may other fringe youth players, Gardiner, Hammond etc. Dennis may get an opportunity to impress Nuno but feel decisions have been made on Worrall, LOB, Bowler, Hwang. Mighten is interesting? Last chance saloon.

Bit of a loosener today, with hard miles put in next week. Woefully short at CB. With three games in Spain perhaps Donnelley or Abbott will be given a chance.

Pre season priority is
1. sort out set piece defending and set piece attack. To do that need at least one CB’s in sooner rather than later.
2.Get Sangare purring.

Agreed with all that mate, particularly the Sangare thing. I'm sure like many others I still hold out hope that restored to full fitness, good health & with a pre season behind him he will turn out to be what we hoped. However I have this niggling feeling that he may look a million dollars in pre season games where the pace & low intensity will suit him, but then when exposed to the full on hurly burly of prem league games it might be a different story, & by then it may be too late to recruit a replacement & we will still be without that real No. 6 we so desperately need. Hope not but just have it niggling away in back of my mind

My how time flies! First pre season game today and the Euros and Wimbledon tournaments haven't even finished yet.
Soon be Christmas chaps!
