Pre Season Fixture Schedule 22-23

Blackpool's preparations for the new season continue to take shape, with a pre-season fixture at Salford City now confirmed.

The Seasiders will take on the Sky Bet League Two outfit at the Peninsula Stadium on Tuesday 19th July, kick-off 7:30pm,

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Not very inspiring friendlies Noddy. Surely a Bloomers home friendly against Scouse Pool will be announced sooner rather than later? No doubt it will be at Anfield again to accommodate the bigger numbers. N.B.Unlikely to be a Liverpool friendly now that Critchley has moved on to A/V.

No news is good news. Friendlies are a complete waste of time it seems. After last year, just not worth attending. Might as well play behind closed doors. We don't have a team has it appears either.

Rangers pre-season plans are gathering pace with further information expected on a friendly game against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.


At present, two relatively high-profile games have been announced so far against Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.

VitalRangers understands that the away game in the north-west of England pencilled in for mid-July, which would be well received by the club’s loyal and dedicated regular away support is close to completion but not finalised just yet. It is now up to both clubs to set out and confirm the finer details.
 
The Seasiders will face the Premier League outfit at York City's LNER Community Stadium on Thursday 7 July, kick-off 7pm. Blackpool have been designated as the away side for the fixture, and have been given an initial allocation of just over 800 tickets.

Then on to Everton.

Blackpool will host Everton at Bloomfield Road on Sunday 24 July in another pre-season fixture.
The match against Frank Lampard's Toffees will kick-off at 3pm, and gives Michael Appleton's side the chance to test themselves against Premier League opposition a week before the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship gets underway.
Tickets for the fixture will initially go on sale to season ticket holders (without restrictions) from 10am on Monday 4 July.
Club members will then also be able to purchase tickets (without restrictions) from 10am on Thursday 7 July. They will then go on general sale at 10am on Monday 11 July.
Ticket Prices:
  • £15 for Adults
  • £10 for Seniors (65+) and 18-21-Year-Olds
  • £5 for Under-18s
Am I right in thinking that the last 2 times we played Everton in a pre-season friendly that we went on to get promoted the same season.
We drew 2-2 pre prem and then 3-3 the season we went up v Lincoln.

Michael Appleton's side will take on the National League North outfit at Mill Farm, with the fixture set to kick-off at 7:30pm.

Admission details for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.

Mr Appleton was quite pleased with the performance from the lads against Everton. He said it was encouraging. These things take time Michael P. You will be over the Moon with him come the end of the season :grinning:
