Bit on the confident side those Gooners are,nt they? Pissed it before a ball has been kicked! Sounds like they,re expecting to reach double figures against us, well what a gauntlet to lob down at our feet. Well I reckon if they manage to scrape 100th minute winner like the Scousers today they,ll head back down the M1 disappointed, spoiled twats!

Luton's constant competitiveness at home should provoke us rats into not capitulating, for once. If we have any pride left at all.

I just see no way we don't get hammered. I don't see any way of stopping or even limiting this Arsenal team. I don't expect them to go easy on us like City do - even if we also promise not to tackle them. I worried about Newcastle and Villa battering us, but I more than worry about Arsenal battering us - I completely expect it.

I expect anything between 0-4 and 0-9. I expect a low attendance in anticipation of this. I expect an even lower attendance when the 2nd or 3rd goal goes in as thousands wish they hadn't bothered. A lot of them then won't turn up for the next home game either.

Fortress Bramall Lane? What a fucking joke. It's Surrender Central. The Capitulation Arena. It's just a venue for humiliation rituals.

Honestly, one more embarrassment and Wilder won't recover. Even if it is against Arsenal.

I don’t want to like this but I agree with all of it except for the first line if they had any pride they wouldn’t keep getting hammered every other week this is a team of quitters and losers and if anyone wants to argue against that I’ll point you to previous results which backs my statement up in spades and I include wilder and the players in that I can’t even remember how many times we’ve conceded 5 goals this season 😞
I’d gladly take a 0-3 right now and I’ve never said that before 🫤
 
One of the reasons we're such a pushover is we largely disregarded character with our signings. We also disregarded nationality, and compatibility. I guarantee if we had just signed a bunch of solid top 6 level Championship players we'd have fared much better.

Trusty, Larouci, Souza, Traore, Slimane...... it's a bizarre choice to go with what we had. I don't have any confidence in any of them, in any way.
 
I watched villa last night they’re pushing for champions league this season and as I watched my mind went back to when we absolutely hammered them about 5 maybe 6yrs ago in one of the best halves of football I’ve ever seen from us we tore them apart, since then we have either had prem money or parachute payments, it’s beyond belief the incompetence involved for us to finish up in this position from where we were
 
Our last stint in the Prem when everyone but the officials saw the goal we scored against them, the loss of all 3 points could have relegated them. How unjust wrong none decisions can change the course of footy history, and now we have the average 100 minute footy match which has opened the door to even more controversy. "We wuz robbed!" becoming an even more justified statement. It,s the same with Pro Boxing when the last 3 Championship Rounds were shortened from 15 rounds to 12. Those last 3 really sorted the men from the boys!
