As we only have Featherstone as a recognised midfielder, any signing would improve current midfield!
So far Pools have only made the one signing, Charman who sounds reasonable but worryingly is a forward which could suggest departure from that area of the team.
On a different note, I see Askey has gone to Truro City as manager.

Sarll seems to be slowly, cautiously, assembling his squad ahead of preseason return. From his interviews he would appear to know what he wants and has a distinct requirement for players to be fit for 90+ minute matches.
Once Euros are over the excitement ahead of the new season should start to build?
