8. Couldn’t see where he got a great deal wrong except the penalty shout that I thought he should have given although it wasn’t the strongest. Think the penalty at the end was a bit of a makeup call.
 
6. Average with nothing outrageous or unnecessary bookings. Couldn't really call the first half penalty shout on Hackett as the away fans are nearly in a different postcode to the far goalmouth.
 
I'll go 6 as well. As John said the away end was so far away from our attacking end in the first half there's no way we could judge that Reeco challenge. Fine otherwise but I did like him calling Paudie over to warn him as captain about time wasting rather than just flash a yellow at one of our players.
 
8 We have had a run of poor referees.

He isn't one one them.

He was unfussy and in control. You never had the feeling he was looking to be centre of attention or would give some mad decision that would affect the outcome of the game.
 
7 mildly decent. Looked a pen on Recco even from where we are, but got the indecent assault on Duffy correct for the pen. Amazed non of ours were booked for time wasting, though he did chivvy them along a bit
