10m views of the video showing some of Johnson's lies by lawyer and filmmaker Peter Stefanovic

https://www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/news/boris-johnson-lies-viral-video-b1830732.html

He goes into quite a few bits in the article as well and finishes saying

“I’d like him held accountable for every single lie and falsehood he’s made since he became prime minister - carefully fact-checked of course.”
And the bottom line is that if there was GE tomorrow he would win it again with a landslide.

Unless it came in via dingy. Then would be escorted to the Savoy.

They don't get escorted there either even in a dinghy. They get put in run down old empty army camps. Alot of what you read in the media isn't true Col. Immigrants like the disabled are used as a pawn in the government games. Easy target

That's just simply not true Col, regardless of what the twats like Farage claim. It's European policy that all immigrants register in the country they first land in, that is not international law, they are allowed to travel as far as they want to the country of their choice where they may have family, friends and a greater chance of making a future success of their lives.

There is nothing illegal in reality about crossing the Channel - it's nuanced.

A - cross the Channel and then hide at a friends as an illegal immigrant ready to seek work without visa and without paying tax.
B - cross the Channel and then hand yourself in to the first authority figure you find in order to file for asylum in the hope it's granted so you have a visa and subsequently pay tax.

If the UK were that concerned in reality we would have asylum centres across the coast of Europe and we would have a competent border force and asylum setup so people didn't have to wait a decade for a decision.

Last figure I saw we are still 40% down on previous years, but dingy's have become a nice and comfortable press and right wing distraction.

The whole hotel bollocks is also lazy journalism because our Gov won't live up to their legal obligations - hotels are used as a last resort and expensive hotels are a total last resort when a Travel Lodge or B&B isn't available matey.

I've seen so many scream 'the barracks are good enough for soldiers, why not scum immigrants'.

The barracks haven't been in use for over a decade so no maintenance, some outlets scream 'no internet' - the sensible ones show pictures of walls falling apart, no hot water, and totally unhygienic conditions.

Patel played the 'good enough for service men' card, shame the judge didn't tell her to live there for a week.

If you want to stop immigrants coming to your country, there is one sure-fired, 100% guaranteed way to stop them. Just destroy your economy. Nobody is immigrating to Bosnia or Romania. Nobody is climbing a fence to get into Zimbabwe.

It seems to me that Boris is taking out the UK economy one sector at a time. He wrecked the City with his Brexit deal that included goods but not services. He destroyed the fishing industry. It seems that he is aiming for the entire farming industry next.

He talked about leveling up the north but it seems to me that he is determine to level the British economy by destroying everything in sight.

Still, there will be no more immigrants and that's what Brexit was all about so he will have delivered on the ideals of Brexit.

Name and address for posts like that please mate.

Then if a complaint does come in, me and JF don't have to waste our time with it.

:tophat:

I've just got round to looking properly at some of those WhatApp messages.

Is the software that crap you get Johnson Boris as a name, they star swear words out and on Boris' messages they all seem to have a space between 20.00p m?

No, that's an artist's impression type thing on the BBC website. Cummings posted the WhatsApp shots on his own blog. And it depends on your phone settings as to whether the surname or first name appears first.

Ah right cheers dude - that really confused me as I'd assumed they'd have lifted and photoshopped swearing out. That's a bad bloody job then with the timestamp error.

Commons leader Jacob Rees-Mogg has hailed Health Secretary Matt Hancock as a "successful genius" - after he was allegedly branded "hopeless" by the PM.

Even Gattuso lasted longer than that PMSL

Dangerous situation. I'm no fan of the DUP. It's pretty shocking that a party like that could exist in Britain in 2021 but still, the chaos within Unionism at the moment is bad for NI. They have got themselves all in a muddle over Brexit and the end result will be more violence.

The Tories win a working class seat in Hartlepool but they lose a very middle class seat in Buckinghamshire.

Tories are identifying as the party of the white working class these days

Defo a stunning victory. I hope this is the beginning of the end of the Tories

Reading this morning that though Labour policy isn't to stand down they did nothing during the campaign and stayed away from campaigning. The reason was so the Libs could throw everything at the vote and win which they did

I didn’t realise that context. I get it tactically, but it doesn’t fill me with confidence yet with Labour if they have to try to win seats tactically. They need to get into a position where they are winning seats all over the place so they can run for these and afford to lose.
