Remember when Poch said Berahino was the only striker in the world he wanted? He certainly has previous. A very stubborn man.

Also makes you have sympathy for chairmen when fans complain about them not backing their managers. The chairman has to look out for the long term interests of the club and know when to say no to the manager.

Also makes you wonder how things might have turned out if Mitchel had of either stayed or been replaced. Clearly this was an area Poch struggled with.

Yeah Mitchell wasn't having any of Levy's tactics. Would love to read his book and find out exactly what happened.

All top managers are extremely egotistical to one degree or another despite how they may appear in front of cameras tv media etc some being in your face, some more subtle, and poch was no exception. Apeears to me that hhe believed his way was the right and only way....so he spent too much time indoctrinating players to his filosophy and in my opinion stifling creativity and players natural instincts...you reap what you sew.
