Missed peno from Rotherham after a silly foul in the box Beckles wrapping his arm around Wood - reminded me of a typical Bassong move. Cmon Shrews.
 
Good showing from Morris and Godfrey so far. Godfrey just made a good move which set up a brilliant header from Morris but just wide.
 
Damn , 1-0 Rotherham ! Corner in and that man again Wood gets in a free header... 1-0. A bit too easy there!
 
Just seeing on the replay it was Beckles again who failed to keep on him . He gave Woods a penalty needlessly in a Bassongesque fashion and has now done a Russel Martin and let him get passed him easily. Please do not sign Beckles NC :eek!:
 
Rotherham definitely the better side in 1st half. Morris did get forward a couple of times and done well but had zero support with him when he got it back into the box. He's being forced to go wide. Feels similar to watching NC play
 
Morris is off , worrying! - Looks like his knee - he played on twice but went down again. Could mean he misses pre season. He at least was walking
 
Godfrey has had a decent game, I expect him to be in and around our first team all next season. Morris done well until he went off but don't think he is the clinical striker we need
 
Godfrey was excellent again. Every time I’ve seen him play for Shrewsbury he’s impressed me. Daniel Farke has some decisions to make over Ben, Carlton Morris, Todd Cantwell and Remi Matthews. I reckon that Matthews and Godfrey will be in the first team squad and possibly Cantwell too. Morris could do a job from the bench but he isn’t the answer to the striking question.
 
I think df will give them a go in preseason but might already have an idea of who will stay. He needs to be sure to keep a group who meet criteria. Morris might be sold. Cantwell might go back to Fortuna. Matthews and Godfrey to stay.
