Vital Reserves Team
Outgoings

Jagielka - on wages alone be open to a coaching role on realistic money though.

Bryan

Moore

Mousset

Baldock - generate cash and wages

Stevens - generate Cash and wages

Burke

Mcburnie for the right money

Berg - For the right money to build new team

Lundstrum - Hoping he has already left the building

Fleck and Norwood are border line for me and wouldn't refuse decent offers for these two.

Baldock and Stevens we have enough cover IMO and could be a good time to cash in

Putting my tin hat on !

Cheers

Agree with all that but i would keep Baldock and Fleck for one more season as we know both have been the best players in the team. I think Jokanovic can get that back out of them.
You might need your tin hat for the spelling of Berge by the way :ROFLMAO:

I thought that Bryan deserved another year at least based on his performances last season. I like Fleck, but I agree that he is borderline. Norwood might be in his plans through his Fulham connection (or possibly not as he didn't sign him once they got promoted).

Whoever SJ brings in, we'll probably lose 2 midfielders with Lundstram and Berge. Depends if anyone else leaves.

Robinson is a better player than Bryan. I don't like him, but he is.

There's no reason to keep Bryan.

Berge needs to leave and we need the money.
Mousset needs fucking right off.
Luncunt is finally off to stink out another club but we should still set him on fire on his way out.
If we somehow get PL interest for Egan he should be sold.
McBurnie can go for a good offer.
Obviously the wage thieves like Moore and Rodwell can do one.

Moore and Rodwell are out of contract. Not sure what CW had plans with Moore. He broke hie fingers in pre-season, so that might have affected his plans

Rodwell - I dunno why CW signed him

I do agree with Robinson, he played well in the games he did play last season

The biggest problem with the bit part players is that they really haven't been pushing the first teamers. Bryan is a good example. How long has he been here yet on the odd occasion he's played we cant wait to get him out the team as he weakens it. Compare with Ben Osborn who has performed well every time he's been called on.

I believe Bryan, Moore. Lunny and Jags (how many coaches do we need) contracts end this month.
Baldock and Fleck 2024, Stevens, Burke, McBurnie, Norwood 2023 and Mousett 2022.
So most of the players have decent contracts and are on decent wages so it's not just finding a club that wants them but also matching their wages. So in reality they can stay here unless they get a better deal or we sweeten any deals.
Berge is probably our main asset, is he worth 35m that's down to opinion, allegedly he has "get out of jail card" what that price is we won't know until someone can retrieve that information from future accounts.
JS will look at the squad and decide who to keep, I imagine that will be players who fit the formation he favors or he might stick with 5 3 2 will be enlightening what ever happens

Of the players whose contracts are up Bryan is the only one I wouldn't be surprised if he was offered a new deal. TBF he performed a lot better than I thought he was capable of.

Mousset needs to go, there's little to no hope of us clawing any money back for him. Max Lowe not good enough for Derby not good enough for us. Any offers for Berge, Egan, Verrips, McBurnie, Fleck, Norwood, Enda, Brewster and Baldock should be seriously considered.

Well that confirms the first and huge step forward. That waste of space Lundstram has gone.
He can go and get himself a new deal with a Premiership team

Nowt unexpected with those releases or that Bryan will be staying. He's a good age, has room for improvement, versatile and will be a relative low earner.

I'd rather we had better but keeping him makes sense.

I was thinking about the potential of a Jebbison/Brewster partnership if Jokanovic can get the supply line right. Add to that a massive dose of preseason confidence boosting and that partnership has the potential to be off the scale.
We just need rid of Bambi (McBurnie) and the Incredible Sulk (Mousset) as soon as possible.

Jebbison could be the one who enables us to sell McBurnie.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was our number 1 striker next season. He could come back from pre season a different animal. He's at an age where he could develop extremely and quickly.

Not sure how keeping both Bryan and Robinson makes sense.

I agree i would have let Bryan go. Too many average utility players, we need more specialist in a specific position players. Simply put more technical quality.

If Slav does play 4 at the back, and that's what he's done from 2015 onwards, then that limits Robinson, Enda and Lowe to just LB. I wouldn't trust Bash or RND as centre halfs - which just leaves Bryan and Egan what with Jags leaving and JOC's injury situation.

We've got four specialist left backs and Osborn, Bryan and Bogle who can play there in our unbalanced squad.

It makes you question some of the signings even more. Why Max Lowe for example ?. So for left back/left wing back we have RND, Osborn, Enda, Bryan and Lowe. To have 5 in that position is absolute madness. I would not be surprised if Lowe and RND go out on loan.

I'd loan out RND again, try to sell Lowe, then bring in Sessegnon if possible.

Osborn and Stevens for LWB with Robinson covering is more than enough. Then Sessegnon could play there too but I think his main position would be wide forward, like at Fulham.

Every chance Osborn starts in CM anyway.

I certainly don't want FLECKY leaving BDBL,he's been our best, most consistent player along with the Magic Hat up to this season.UTB
