Was hoping that our pal Steve in Newcastle might do us a favour, wasn`t to be. A quality young NU striker (played 18 times for the first team) was loaned to Wycombe though ..

But, seems like we may have a free agent, or two, heading through the Mersey tunnel (or Gateway Bridge) on Saturday - we shall see .....

We've just passed the deadline and only have 18 senior players. 1 keeper, 6 defenders (woe betide suspensions), 8 midfielders and only three strikers - IF you include Jakubiak as a forward. That is ridiculous.
