The shortlist will be very short as so few players have played well enough or often enough.
Fletcher has performed well above expectations.
 
He has, although the last 2 months his form has dropped off - Evatt suggested that he was carrying an injury.
Loved the play Imray brought, have enjoyed Waiters and Anderson - sign them both!!
Brown has performed well, when you consider Bruce had him at right fing back!!
Thats about it for genuine contenders
 
The thousanď dollar question is whether Fletch has had a one off season or whether he has finally matured into the finished article. He thoroughly deserved his Player of the Season accolade

Yes, I wish we could have Tony Waiters in goal rather than Peacock Farrell. Slip of the fingers or your memory me thinks, Sex. I'm sure you meant Walters-- Keep up the good work. :grinning:

My player of the season even though he left us early would be Imray--the best attacking right back we have seen at the Pool in a long long time. We should sign him up for next season. Transfer rather than a loan.

Imray is a bold choice, as he only played 13 games - if we had won the league he wouldn't have qualified for a medal🤣
