To a degree, restarting football with the higher frequency testing is a track and trace experiment.
Can't really close the season off and decide relegation until everybody has at least played the same number of games. That is the minimum requirement, play two games to equate the number of games played, which will give some sort of legitimacy as to whether Villa or Watford go down with Bournemouth and Norwich. Not ideal, there are three teams on 27 points currently, and one, or two of them dependent on Villa's result, would be very unhappy to be relegated on goal difference with nine games of the season to go. Still believe that the fairest method would be to decide the league on nineteen games, with each Club playing all the others once. It's probably all academic however, money rules and there seems to be widespread determination to complete the season somehow, irrespective of the consequences.I would kill this season off...no reason to risk anything at this point. Pool winning was pretty much done and dusted regardless. Everyone else simply sits in the standings where they are now...and hell I would breathe a sigh of relief for us...we were in freefall!
The only question for the league is...do you relegate or promote? They may need to figure out a way to deal with that sticky question.
Why should PL footballers be tested and retested numerous times when we plebs have not had one yet!

I've been thinking along the same lines. Our injuries, I would argue, have hurt us more than any other club. Or at least our rivals. But Boy are we going to bounce back with everyone fit. Just wait and see.
I smell CL.
Still a slim hope of this, provided Man City's CL ban is upheld too.I smell CL.
MC's ban, do we honestly believe it will be upheld, I for one done think so, money talks and MC's owners have lots of it.

I do.
