You take a stance CJJ and you have to take the flak that comes with it. What you post reflects on you personally- like wanting to re-write history to suit your argument- then that , obvioulsy, calls into question your own morals, interpretation of right and wrong and general approach to life and, if you can't both see that or take it then you'd be better off keeping your views to yourself and away from the less than genteel world of social media.

Anyone found to have broke the Covid rules should go for decency’s sake. Starmer included. Your man would have to be dragged out by the hair! He doesn’t do honesty and decency. You Backing Johnson calls into question your judgment of morals and decency!! 😉

I broke the covid rules for me to meet up with some of the family in my garden and share a bottle. He got a parking ticket CJJ and not a criminal record. Sir Liar and is mate (who he says was not there) might get away with it due to a Labour appointed Commy in Durham but we know.

Using my argument to try to make your own point is a little less than persuasive, original or even sensible. It merely highlights a lack of originality nd creativity apart from you showing you are floundering . Oh dear,oh dear, oh dear.
You need to come to the table with a bit more than firing my own comments back at me to make a modicum of progress although actually CJJ I have to concede your point about someone resorting to personal comments having lost the argument.

Now how long ago was it that you called me pompous before I'd even mentioned your judgement, morality, personality or decency????

Ms Josephs has been on paid leave from her £190,000 a year role since January while Eugene Walker, a senior council officer who is normally paid around £150,000 a year, is covering for her on extra pay.
It follows Ms Josephs admitting in a statement on social media that she gathered with colleagues in the Cabinet Office for drinks to mark the end of her time as head of the government’s Covid Taskforce while restrictions were in place.

Not like a Liebour counncil to hope people will forget and it will all go away.
Either way the ratepayer pays whilst the guilty get little if any sanction and, to avoid a possible unfair dismissal claim a hefty pay off way over what a tribunal would grant.
No matter though, the cost will just be added to the rates or whatever they are called these days. No cost at all to any guilty individual - or their cronies- and more than likely brought back as a consultant at twice the daily rate to soften the blow.

Maggie Thatcher's best pal. Just hate these smirking, phoney Union Leaders with their "my members" crap. If they are such good socialist workers why don't they agree to be paid normal wages for doing that job instead of their £110k + salaries.
