pineal gland

Some call it the 3rd eye. The symbol for the pineal gland is rife with most religions from the Egyptians Catholics Buddhists etc. I'm not particularly religious but there must be some link here to a gateway to another dimension or consciousness.

Its actually an interesting subject.

No, it's not.

Throughout history, when there is something we don't fully understand, how often has the pseudo science been the answer when we discover the truth?

pseudo Science is often used to discredit people with alternative views like Graham Hankock. You obviously haven't watched to video because you posted a minute or two after I posted it.
David Wilcock is obviously a very intelligent man and far more intelligent than you or me. If we don't understand subject why knock someone's theory on it? You might actually learn something.
The comments on here have shown arrogance and ignorance towards something that none of you know anything about.

I can almost guarantee I am more intelligent than David Wilcock.

We ridicule it because it's stupid. I hope that helps.

I guarantee your not.

How can you say it's stupid when you don't understand the subject? Even if you don't don't agree with it, it's still interesting. Eg the link with most religions or even the dollar bill to the pineal gland.
I look forward to kefkat posting in the subject. At least I can have a decent debate.

I have seen Wilcock's supposed science before, and can tell you that he is wrong. Just plain wrong. Given that I am not going to waste any time here.

I've said before that Youtube is not evidence. Stop using it.

How are you measuring intelligence here? I'd like to know, because in the land of the blind, a one eyed man is king.

You don't have the answers either though when it comes to consciousness. You just ridicule ideas that contradicts your belief system.
The pineal gland symbols are used throughout history from the Mayans Hindus Buddhists Greeks Catholics Christianity Islam Egyptians Freemasonry etc. Sorry but I find it interesting and why should I dismiss such a huge coincidence.

No, I ridicule anything that is poorly researched, creates evidence to support a theory rather than the other way around and that distorts science.

Consider this ridiculed.

Maybe that's the difference between me and you. I try not to ridicule people and have a debate instead.

The third eye is something I have read and talked with others about before. I have not heard of this connection to the pineal gland.

What I know is the third eye is the subconscious, meditative high conscious. It is something that is often seen when people have Reiki as treatment, as Reiki takes you into another consciousness. I have had Reiki treatment in the past and seen the 3rd eye as I was taken down into another consciousness.

Reiki is a Japanese technique which deals with life force energy which flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki is about balancing the chakra's.

It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery however you should always talk to your GP/Consultant before using. The Reiki provider should always go through your health checks and provide you with a form to fill in about your health and medication.

It should NEVER be used on it's own though as the only way of healing. After all if you have a belief system of faith you will then believe that ''God'' as you do or do not understand it gives medical training and medical hands to the GP's surgeons consultants and so on

Whilst Reiki is not actually laying hands on and works by the aura/life force or whatever you wish to call it, there are some ''treatments'' such as reflexology which whilst beneficial (as it is to me) that can't always be used on others. For instance my husband isn't allowed to use reflexology has a form of beneficial rebalancing of the body, because of his health conditions.

Going back to the 3rd eye I would expect many to scoff at it as if you dont have a belief system be it of faith or otherwise and simply believe once your dead your dead, then it is unlikely you will believe in the third eye.

I can't comment on whether that is related to the Pineal gland has I haven't looked at that. My learning's of the 3rd eye have come through spiritual matters. Sas is quite correct that the spiritual belief systems of this world all have some way of perceiving the 3rd eye.

For anyone who wants to know anymore here is a link to an overview of the third eye and it's spiritual side. It gives a brief overview on what it is to each faith from Buddhism to todays ideas of mindfulness

Like I always say ''all things entwine''

I can do Reiki, I forget the level without looking at the certificate, I did it when I was searching for healing after not recovering well from the brain op. I've never seen a third eye. A third eye was never mentioned.

I'm also no expert on Buddhism but the book I read I don't recall once reading about a third eye, that might just be my memory failing me, or maybe I have a deficient pineal gland.

There are many different types of Reiki JF so maybe all don't see the third eye with it. I have had 2 different types of Reiki.

To quote Wiki this is what it says regarding Buddhism:

In Buddhism, in their different versions there are techniques and practices involving the development of that capacity even if the ultimate goal is to understand the existing reality as it is; unsatisfactory, impermanent and unsubstantial ( non-self or anatta ). Mahayana Buddhism and in the Tibetan practices such knowledge tends to be more valued than in Theravada Buddhism, although there are techniques to open the " divine eye " or to clean the vision.[7]

Various different types of the faith system practice different things or call it different things. In Christianity there are different types of meditation: some include the 3rd eye some don't
