So assuming no more incomings what would yours be?

Pretty well much the same. Except...

Keep Bunne (he has a new deal anyway), Steer out on loan for game time, Sarkic out on loan 2nd half of season if they think he's ready.

Amavi: used to think he has talent, but he gets worse every time I see him. There's too much pressure for him. Get rid.

On showing so far Elmo is way above Adomah. Do we need him?

Doyle-hayes: like O'Hare, Davis and others he's one of the fringe youngsters, so maybe don't need him in the 23.

So could get down to 19-20 in the "main" squad, excluding the fringe.

Can't see there being much variation on that. Maybe a few would have De Laet or Richards and maybe it'd be nice to throw in a few younger players but I think that'll happen if we can shift a couple of players.

You're all forgetting Bruce also loves Bacuna, and I'd rather play with 10 men than have Gabby in a squad.

Both will be in Bruces "group"
 
Adomah did really well for us last season, so I think I'd consider trying him as second striker, or attacking midfielder, he has to be a better gamble than Gabby.
I'd give Hourihane until new year to prove all the hype about him isn't just that, hype. If he doesn't come good, I'd list him.

Apart from those moves I'd go pretty much with whats already been laid out.
 
If you are only picking 23 there's a lot still needing to be moved on. I make it that we have the following on our books so far:

Goalkeepers (4): Bunn, Johnstone, Sarkic, Steer (plus Gollini on loan)

Defenders (13): Amavi, Baker, Bree, Chester, Cissokho, De Laet, Elmohamady, Elphick, Hutton, Richards, Samba, Taylor, Terry

Midfielders (12): Adomah, Bacuna, Bjarnason, Gardner, Grealish, Green, Hourihane, Jedinak, Lansbury, Lyden, Tshibola, Whelan (plus Gil on loan)

Strikers (6): Agbonlahor, Davis, Hepburn-Murphy, Hogan, Kodjia, McCormack

That's 35 individuals (plus a further 2 out on loan). So you'd expect a few more exits in the next month surely?!
 
I am surprised that you wouldn't have Thor in your squad Deano.
Especially with the possibility of Amavi being either loaned out or sold.
Thor has actually looked decent playing that left side, both defensively and in an attacking sense.
He made some great runs, only to be ignored.
To be honest, Thor looked more at home in that left back spot, in one friendly, than Amavi has since he joined.
 
Tierney, the Dr has pretty much said as much 20 snr players + 6 youth.

So by my reckoning we need rid of 11 more after Veretout.

That's 7. Not sure where the other 4 are coming from. Bacuna? Bruce seems to like him though. Amavi? Possibly, although since his move fell through he seems to be back in Bruce's thoughts, Baker? Do we need him now we have Samba and potentially Suliman coming through who may be a better prospect?

Out of that lot, I'd definitely let go of Bunn, Steer and Gollini.
Cissokho, Amavi, Elphick and Richards. I'd let Bree and DeLaet out on loan for 6 months.
Tshsibola, Gardner and Bacuna. I'd give Grealish and Hourihane until New Year to make an impact, if they don't I'd add them to the move on list.
Agbonlahor and McCormack can go and if a really good offer came in, I'd be prepared to let Kodjia go.
That's a possible 15 bodies out of the door, leaving us with a squad of 20.
 
Yes I think Thor will be a decent player for us.

Still looks a yard off the pace , hence why he has had more minutes pre season than anyone else.
 
Why on earth would anyone want to sell Kodjia? Don't you want to get promoted?

col8, I think Sasquatch is thinking about what I said In my last post.
I said, that if a really good offer for Kodjia came in, I'd accept it, which is somewhat different to saying I want to sell him.
And by the way Sasquatch, Kodjia, on his own will not get us promoted, in fact he could cost us promotion, as he only plays for himself and not the team.
He will try a shot from an impossible position, rather than pass to a teammate in a better position.
 
Disagree with 23, especially at this level. SO based on where we are at now, and who is still kicking around B6 and BMH....
