A huge banner has been unveiled in the Arndale shopping centre, announcing the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United.

And to add insult to injury the image directly overlooks Manchester City’s official club shop.

Mark my words, Zlatan is well past his best and will struggle to make the team after XMas. We have nothing to fear from the Stretfords.

Trust me this arrogant bellend has burnt out. Seen him against City and Ireland and he's gonna get burned right off in the PL.

All mouth and trousers. Look forward to him getting a heavy dose of reality in the PL.

This is Maureen's 'go to guy', the one he hopes will do for the rags what Didier Drogba did for Chelsea when he brought him back. He be hailed as a hero and the media types will suck up to Maureen claiming this a 'coup' despite his age (remember them declaring Yaya past it at 31?) and opting to ignore the wages (reportedly at £220,000 per week with £8m for signing - so much for players not got to the rags for the money)

I don't understand why they are so excited - I mean, I've been reading that we've bought Nolito from Celta Vigo(?) - I mean, hold onto your seats, who's REALLY excited!

They know they are shit and have to believe any new signing is going to make a big difference, a bit sad really. :010:

a one year contract Skoorb, all the signs of trying to win the title in his first year, but it gets harder with all the money about and the nous from a canny manager who can spot talent and then do it on a shoestring budget.

Tinkerman showed it can be done and the advantage is those Clubs who are not involved in Europe.

I've read that they have bought Zlatan in part to help the development of their younger strikers - which makes sense. I'd have liked to see us try and get someone like Defoe to help bring on KI72. he narrowly missed out on the Euros and if he can score for Sunderland he could probably get 10 for us, plus he's an old pro and would probably appreciate not playing every game.

Not a bad idea ( if squad places allow )

I've read that the same thing was considered with Nolito given he's been coached in the Pep way before, he will act as a mentor to Sterling and Sane should we sign him.
