Knobby or OK?

I have been thinking of treating someone to one as a present but not sure its considered knobby or cool these days.
 
Entirely down to the persons character really Col me I would never have one don't see the point but other people love that kind of thing so in a nutshell it will be a brilliant present or an embarrassing one.
 
Personal choice mate. If the person the gift is intended for likes them why not?

Or
Get them to change their name by deed poll to HE15 XYZ
 
Cool as far as I'm concerned provided it's not tacky. Depending on what it is, it can work out very expensive though, especially if the plate spells out a name like S4RAH etc
 
Not got a major feeling either way really, lol, but seem a little tacky to me. I'd certainly not think it cool!
 
P 15 SED is the best one I`ve seen.
I`d like V 111 AMA,which would look like VILLA MA,but someone already has it.
 
The V111A followed by 2 letters are about £300 quid if I recall. My Canadian cousin was on the lookout for IB6 UB9. Not spoken to him to see if he was succesful or not.
 
As ever, the wonderful band Half Man Half Biscuit have a lyric to cover this subject:

Was parked next to a very expensive looking Merc yesterday. Reg. V6LLA just guessing but I think he might be a Villa fan.
 
My reg has BBJ within it! Was given the choice of a few and thought I'd remember that one!
