Probably a season largely to forget but we remain in League 1, and I'm hopeful we can do something in close season to bolster the squad. Here are a few personal best / worst of's imho
Best Home Games - Wigan and Blackburn, showed we could hold our own against the so called big teams, and certainly the larger budgets.
Worst Home Games - Portsmouth and Blackpool. Portsmouth I was embarrassed to go to work our tactics were so abject and on Sky.
Best Away Games - Rotherham (stayed in Nottingham from Thursday with group, great time, unexpected victory) and Portsmouth. Scunny a close third
Worst Away Games - Rochdale, we were down then if we kept the then current set up, and Southend. Where did that first half performance come from
Best Goal - Wilkinson at Portsmouth. Game changer, Super Bob would have been proud of that in his prime.
Funniest Moment on the pitch - Learning why the Oldham player was sent off - hair pulling allegedly - and it ultimately cost them 2 points that would have kept them off.
Funniest Moments Off the Pitch - too many to mention but thanks to Trev, Liney, Ed and Captain Bob. Great travelling with you again, here's to 2018 / 2019.
