Numb to it all. I feel we are already relegated and it doesn't matter who comes in, even if EM could fit enough digits on a cheque to get Mourinho in the door.

I don’t get how your were completely for Dyche’s appointment having kept Everton up and then had a terrible run but are so against Pereira who kept wolves up and then had a terrible run.

Completely inconsistent in your valuation of a good manager

I don't think I ever once said I was "completely for" Dyche in the first place. By all means, have a look at my comments on the thread I started at his appointment.

However, he matched our style, he gave a shit about the club and has consistently achieved what we want.

By all means actually look at who Pereira beat to keep Wolves up last season and then tell me you have confidence

You wanted Dyche gone and have got a bloke with 2 points from 10 games

Yawn. You were one of the most vocal supporters of Dyche so I’m not surprised at this. I suspect, however, that had you not gone so hard in the beginning at how brilliant an appointment Dyche was, you might not be doubling down quite so hard.

Sean Dyche was sacked because of Sean Dyche. In the last 2 months, he delivered a string of dreadful performances while West Ham get ever closer.

Do I want Pereira as manager? Not particularly. But I’ll be supporting him as hard as I’ve supported anyone because we’re not actually in the relegation zone just yet and I don’t think this kind of attitude helps fans, players or club in any way.

At least give him 10 games FFS. I didn’t want Dyche but gave him that much, much as the likes of yourself want to retrofit history and make out there’s been some secret agenda against him from his first day in the job.

Dyche is gone.

Zero point in relitigating it, I am not supporting him

There are possible appointments that could have been made that I would have supported.

This is categorically not one of them

This is the guy that has relegated Wolves.

He is fucking woeful

My problem is the appointment. I am not even talking about the sacking

Dyche doesn’t care about anyone else but himself. I don’t buy this ‘he loves the club’ rubbish. He enjoys recalling stories about his time in the 80’s and going for drinks with the European lot. Did he care about the club when he walked down the tunnel after losing and left the players to acknowledge the fans last night? Done that a few times as well. He’s hardly cooper is he? Blamed everybody but himself for all our problems. Never the sign of a good leader.

Nuno didn’t give a shit about the club and he’s still our best manager since Clough achievement wise.

Ironic that you’re dismissing the teams pereira beat to keep wolves up, yet if Dyche had done that, we wouldnt even be having this conversation would we?

By all means though, disregard Dyche’s final few months at Everton but ONLY take Pereira’s at Wolves
 
The performances under Dyche have been up and down, but the bottom line is that he achieved 22 points in his 18 games. That form is more than enough to escape relegation, which was the purpose of his appointment.

To replace Dyche with Pereira is ludicrous and knee jerk IMO. The problem was bringing in Edu, who has messed us up, and sacking Nuno. We shot ourselves in the foot, big time.…

We now don’t deserve to stay up….

Jesus, he's signing for 18 months, not 4 months. WTF are we doing here? Sacking him in June with a payoff if we survive in the hope we get Silva or .......

I’m not defending the appointment - the whole situation is an abomination. Marinakis, Ange, Edu, Dyche, Nuno, Pereira - a big bowl of shit. But I’ll challenge a bit of hypocrisy in your disregard for one manger after seriously defending the other with a similar record

Why would we offer 18 months

He is out of work

Surely there is no reason to offer more than an interim role till the summer?
