'Pep won't return my calls'

Skoorb

Alert Team
Knowing this berk he's probably been calling at 3am or perhaps around 8pm on Tuesday evening when Pep was somewhat busy.

Seluk has been asked by his client to build bridges with Guardiola, but the Spaniard is continuing to give him the cold shoulder

Dimitri Seluk has ended his clients career far too early. What a shame, what a twat :101:

Statement from Yaya:

"I wish to apologise - on behalf of myself and those who represent me - to the management team and all those working at the club for the misunderstandings from the past.

"Those statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there.

"I have nothing but respect for Manchester City and only wish the best for the football club.

"I am immensely proud to have played a part in the club's history and want to help City succeed further. I live to play football and entertain the fans.

"On that note, I would like to thank all of the fans for their messages through this difficult period. This means a great deal to me and my family."

Well in Yaya, now where's Dimitri's apology?

About bloody time - moving on :031:

This afternoon's press conference should be interesting.

Just a shame it's going to distract the media from the situation at the swamp.

Apparently Seluk is on Talksport, says he doesn't apologise.

I have talkSPORT on when i'm sat at my PC but must have missed his statement when I was in the bathroom.

If he says he doesn't apologise then he's a prize...

Just watched Pep's presser - "Nothing has changed"
I'm taking this to mean that Yaya's 'apology' holds no water, so he won't play until Seluk apologises

The cynic in me is also suspicious about the timing. Just after we've had a fantastic win against Barcelona without Yaya. I wonder if this is what they'd be saying if Barca had humped us? :048:

Yep, I'm sure the quotes from him last week were laying the groundwork for a scathing attack had we been beaten by Barca, I'm sure Dimitri was ready to blame our potential CL exit on Yaya's absence from the CL squad, unfortunately for him we went and stuffed Barca.

I'd say those views are pretty much spot on. The timing is massively suspicious - the toad was just waiting for City to get dumped out of the CL so he could go into full gloat mode and blame the exit on the absence of his client. When that plan failed miserably they had to opt for Plan B which amounts to Yaya grovelling on behalf of his agent.

Clearly this cuts no ice with the boss and so the stalemate continues.

I expect the toad to pop up in the not too different future and start slagging Pep and the club off once again.

If the toad apologizes as well as Yaya, Yaya will still not get a gig unless injuries intervene. He is not in Peps plans, period. However in my humble opinion Yaya has been a great player for us, not perfect, but has played a huge part in winning our most recent trophies. Players decline, look at Rughead and new players take the stage. Pep is trying to ensure that the Yaya saga does not distract the team and Pep is winning by taking a stand with Seluk. :018:

Why Toure has no chance of Man City return despite public apology
