City Watch has come across an article, supposedly from a Pep insider which gives some insight as to what might happen next season as far as some players are concerned.

If this is correct then it may start a fire sale.

I don't think so, but I can see a place for both players in the team rather than has a great talent sat warming his segs on the bench, but if City as rumoured do buy another WC Striker then I do not see SA10 staying

Interesting stuff and some parts fit with some of the things I have mentioned in MDTs - the significance of the injury to Gundogan; the 'two stage' overhaul (it is impossible, unwise and prohibitively expensive to try and make 10+ changes to a squad in a single transfer window) for example.

We all know the impact Silva's absence has on the side, and the leadership issue has been a common theme - without Kompany setting the tone we have seemed 'rudderless' at times. Caballero deserves an extension, he has responded well. The bigger question is over Bravo (not mentioned in the article). As for Kun.......it may all depend on whether another WC striker is hired. Kun made all the right noises in his BT Sport interview before the FA Cup Semi Final about being happy to play for Pep but we shall see.......

Should point out that Perenau tweeted this in response to the article.

"Hi guys, thanks a lot but many of these points are info or opinion from the author of the piece, not from myself (ie, David Silva or Kun)"
