PEP GUARDIOLA TO ars*nal?

My thoughts may have been confirmed that Wenger maybe is time for retirement. Today though, I saw this article suggesting that Pep Guardiola may join the ars*nal soon. Wenger would then take a move upstairs. Makes sense. BUT GUARDIOLA? Mmmmm. They must be getting scared that their rivals in North London are getting too close for comfort.

IF the link doesn't work, just edit the Asterisks out of the url and it will work. Our site editor takes out the dreaded Arse nal word.

IS IT POSSIBLE? OR LIKELY? Interesting point for debate.

Bookies don't tend to get these big ones too wrong and at the mo he's odds-on to go to ManC, although just this once I'd disagree and say that le arse would be the more natural fit.....both in terms of playing style/'philosophy' and the fact that le arse still have a £200 mill war-chest that could be used in the summer, and he's a man you'd let spend it with confidence..

You're right. ars*nal are tailor made for Pep. The problem for them is he won't stay long. And I can see him wanting to be in London more than Manchester.

He's clearly said that 3 years at any club would probably be enough for him - he says he has no intention (as of now) at being anywhere too long....

London is so much cooler than Manchester, so for me it's either Chelsea or le arse....and as he is now independently wealthy a few extra million p.a. which the chav's/dodgy Russian might offer him may not have teh same effect as it would on others?

I hope it's ars*nal. They will be a mess when he leaves.

If I'm honest I'm filled with trepidation that he might join le arse - he'll be able to spend big and to attract the very best talent - that said, the PL will be another proposition altogether and something from different from both la liga and the Bundesliga - but he's already said that, so I expect him to be prepared...

Think strategically. :9: No one else will be able to manage that group when he leaves. Implosion.

hmm, have to disagree on this one - taking over from Wenger will be a breeze for the right manager as so many of their fans think they've underperformed in the last 10 years...

Anyway, the odds on Pep taking over at ManC have shortened again, so it looks as if it's all but a done deal..

I meant when Pep leaves ars*nal. :14:

Would Pep bail on the contract? Doubt it. Would Mourinho join United if they were out?

Both would carry on; it just means that the owners will panic that bit more and chuck shedloads at the problem....and both would enjoy that luxury...

If we won the title and Man united, Liverpool and Chelsea and Man city play Europa league I think I'd die of an overdose of happy.
