pboro are going cash in on attacking players Marcus maddison and jack marriott

maddison is a left winger who can also play the number 10 role. had 25 goals in 100 appearances. he has a 2mill release clause.

Marriot , 23 year old has scored 33 goals in league 1 this season. Going to be hard to sign him unless we splashed some serious bucks. we have been linked to both.

Karanka has said we could sign up to 10 players if he gets his way.
 
That fat fuck Evans is just putting them back in the window. I am so happy they failed to get in the play offs after he shit on the Stags.
 
Has anyone on here actually seen either of these two play?

Be interesting to know how good they both are because I would not be too keen to take remarks from the likes of McAnthony, Fry and Evans at face value.
 
Marriott seems to be a late bloomer. hes 24 in September. loaned out 6 times in his career. before this season his best tally was 14 goals in league 2. I read somewhere that he lost a stone and a half...he wasn't training or looking after himself properly in the past.

Mick McCarthy said that Jock - it's mentioned on NEP website, called him a disgrace for the way he reported back for pre-season.

I work in Peterborough with a load of season ticket holders. They all rave about both of them. Been a couple of times on freebies this season and they both looked good. Can't comment on previous seasons though.
 
Not sure if Karanka would go for him as does he fit our system of a sole striker?Pretty sure he is not a tall player and not sure how is hold up play is to play on top on his own. Personally though as long as you can put it in the onion bag that's good enough for me.
 
reports from the jan transfer window say crystal palace offered 8 mill for Marriot and it was turned down.
