Heavans to Murgatroyd!
One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for a girl and
Four for a boy
Five for silver
Six for gold
Seven for a secret never to be told
Eight's a wish and
Nine a kiss
Ten is a bird you must not miss.

Used to see Mick Robertson in local when I lived in North Kensington. He had one of those posh mews houses. Never realised how tall he was. Wished it had been Susan Stranks.

Never watched Magpie but kids did when they were nippers. My nipper experiece of warching kids TV was Bill & Ben, Rag,Tag & Bobtail, Whirlygig, Andy Pandy and Muffin The Mule. All viewed on someones TV cos we did,nt have one. "Take your shoes off before you come in!" Biggest laff was the state of some of the gaffs in our street, you needed to wipe your shoes on the pavement when kidds TV finished and you left!

Susan Stranks, unknowingly, played a big part in my development...

Shes still alive at 89.
