On the stroke of tea, Hammed goes for 122. Need 250 for one bonus point.

82 runs from the next 43 overs and that's it all wrapped up.

If it wasn't for last weeks slow over rate point deduction it would be as good as finished already.
Yes that was a travesty one of the best games of county cricket for years & someone sees fit to say yes but you were too slow.

This game is getting quite tense as well now

Great to see Notts win another title. It’s hard with the resources that Surrey have to compete, so to beat them outright is a great achievement - especially having only had the opportunity to play them once, away from home, thanks to the stupid structure of the County Championship nowadays.

It’s a bit more comprehensive than the last one where Pattinson and Sidebottom had to get those 10 runs for the last wicket, then along with Andre Adams grab 3 wickets to get enough bonus points to drag us level with Somerset, winning the title by virtue of most wins.

Always thought we might struggle to finish the job here, but Surrey falling to bits yesterday really took the pressure off. Fair play to Hameed who has had a great season as an opener and captain.

Hants have a first innings lead of 101.

I do not think 350 will not be enough for Surrey now; it means they will have to bat until lunch tomorrow at the least and then try and bowl Hants out in two sessions.

Not impossible, given the low scoring nature of the game so far, although 350 looks a tall order
The game don't finish till Saturday chap!

Missed it because I had to pop out but every time you think they may be having a bit of a wobble, someone steadies the ship and pushes on. It's been a brilliant team effort all season.

So Nott's trying to get it wrapped up without having to bat again - although Slater would probably love the idea of knocking off 15 runs to get his 1k for the season.

Although Pennington is trying to "spoil" it for him by taking all 3 of his wickets in the innings in one over.

Meanwhile across the pond, Europe are trying to hold onto the Ryder Cup and are currently up in 3 of the first foursomes.
