They wouldn't necessarily need to score 350 if they bowl out Hants for a low 2nd innings after gettjng them out for a modest 1st innings score.Hopefully Hants, who need the points, will bat out a decent score to keep them out of the match.

Do you think 250 will be enough?

I would think that 300 would be chasable, particularly if they have 3 sessions to go at.

The good thing is Hants will have an eye on Yorks v Durham as they are both next to them in the relegation battle. Hants know that if they concentrate on getting a good first innings to max out all available points a draw would be enough to keep them out the mix and dont need to go for a win. Surrey would be capable of getting 350 quickly as it only takes the likes of Lawrence to have a good day but there is plenty of time for a result either way in a likely low score 4 days match.

Hants have a first innings lead of 101.

I do not think 350 will not be enough for Surrey now; it means they will have to bat until lunch tomorrow at the least and then try and bowl Hants out in two sessions.

Not impossible, given the low scoring nature of the game so far, although 350 looks a tall order
