Other games 2014/15

Spursex

Alert Team
Might as well start this today, having watched both the bin dippers and le arse today, for pre-season games, I'd have to say both impressed....

I hope it isn't an indication of the their season to come, the good news is Manc (missing a good few big names) looked far from ready for the season..

I fancy manure to get their top4 spot back again at the expense of Liverpool.

I don't care how many players Liverpool have signed, they're a worse team without Suarez (hmm, rings a bell ! ),
and manure are in the cozy position Liverpool were last season, no Europe and all week to spend on the training ground between PL games.
Unfortunately I also expect the scum not just to finish top4, but have a proper title tilt as well.

Can see it ending as

1) Chavs
2) Scum
3) Citeh
4) Utd
5) Liverpool

That will more than likely be the top 5 Chiv. Not sure if the gooners will get second, but they look better equipped for the new season.

Tell you what RD, I think if Sanchez gets himself settled early, he could be sensational for the scum.

I was gutted when they got him, the sort of signing I would have been drooling over if it was us.

Thats how i see it finishing too Chiv. I think the top 5 could be at least 6 to 8 points ahead of 6th.

Nice to see you took my advice and gave yourself a break from the madness. I did the same exactly a year before you and it was the right thing to do. Welcome back! :35:

Liverpiddle win their game against Saints but not convincingly. 2-1. If Southampton had kept their passing game together, they could have beaten them. On this performance I can't see Liverpool impressing and I can see Saints improving under Koeman. They may have lost some good players but they should improve. They had chances that they should have taken. If Liverpiddle retain their loyalty to Gerrard, they will blow it. With someone more lively in the No 8 position, they could do better. Well that's my opinion but I think Gerrard has been off the boil fro a long time. His free kicks have been poor and his passing only occasionally good.

No point in judging on first performances. All the big teams that have played so far have been poor.

I take your point but you know, the gap between the 'big' teams as you call them and the others is not so big these days. The quality in the prem is amazing, I think we're too close to it sometimes to realise it. Look at Man U yesterday, full of confidence preseason but going down to Swansea who played well.

Today Liverpiddle only just got the better of Saints, who I think were unfortunate not have scored more.

Really? I thought they looked pretty average (granted so did we!) and their new Frenchies didn't look impressive, especially that striker Riviere or whatever his name is.

I did tip Newcastle to do a lot better this season though

Damn the Newcastle / Villa game is painful to watch!

Everton 2 - ars*nal 0. My fantasy team takes a hit, but for some reason I don't mind. :D
The second goal was a clear offside, how the hell didn't the linesman see it...
I just had to go and sell Jagielka while thinking that Everton cannot lose to both ars*nal and Chelsea, so I chose Chambers instead. What do we learn from this? Never trust a gooner!

Looks like Chelski have found their missing piece of the puzzle in Diego Costa. They might win the league this year.

Arsene is having a bit of a mare this week (honest, I didn't laugh, when Ramsey sent off etc). Rumour has it that sales of bottles of water have gone through the roof whilst use of them has gone on the floor.
