I see Villa have signed Micah Richards, I always liked him, if they can get him fit and keep him fit I reckon they've got a really good player.

Roberto Firmino: Liverpool sign Brazil striker in £29m deal

Liverpool have signed forward Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim on a five-year deal for a fee of about £29m.
The 23-year-old's deal is subject to a medical, which will take place after he returns from Chile, where he has been playing for Brazil in the Copa America.

The scouse look desperate to me. Not worried about their signing's to be honest.

I think Milner and Ings are good signings and would have had both.

I do think Ings would have fitted in here better than Liverpool

Milner is a good player, but he is not a world beater. Ings will flop at the scouse. He has already shown signs he is weak mentally. By refusing the number 8 shirt. Pussy.

Firmino the man nobody heard of before yesterday. He could easily go either way.

Now Peter Cezch to the gooners is a brilliant signing. They are one player away from winning the league now. How depressing.

I see both Arda Turan and Xherdan Shaqiri are both up for sale. I'll be fairly annoyed if either end up in the PL at rival sides.

Maybe you should ask yourself why they are up for sale.

Not bothered about Cech going there. I don't rate him.

Clyne and Frminho take Liverpool forward those to and the addition of Milner who is better now than Gerrard has been for three years means our coverted 5th place is under threat....

In the right system Turan is a very very good player indeed. I don't think he'd come to us but Harry Kane would relish the chances that bloke would make for him. I'd take Turan in a heart beat.

is this a joke? I agree with the above. If still of the ability he was before he got benched for Courtois Cech could well add enough points to ars*nal for them to be in contention.

From what I read Firmino is a master of the pressing game and good at chance creation from attacking midfield, although he can play up front or on the wings. Ronaldinho said that with Firmino and Coutinho Liverpool's strikers will find it easy to score goals... I'd imagine they're going to bring in another big striker and shop Balotelli for a loss, depending on who the striker is they'll either be dangerous or not. Seems Sturridge is too injury prone to rely on for the season and I don't see Ings on his own being able to carry the weight of expectation so hopefully they won't progress too far from last season.

Clyne to Pool is pretty much done.

Soton sell if you match there valuation of players....

LOL, arda turan is a very good player and I won't be suprised to see him at one of the top 4 clubs. Both those players would improve us no problem.

Turna wants to leave madrid as he wants to play in the PL.

An interview at the and of the 2015/16 season ......"So Brendan, having spent £200m and not challenged for the title........ how do you feel?"

Looking at the transfers, the ones I watch with more interest are Southampton, West Ham and Evertonas, along with Liverpool, those are the teams in our competition.

So Liverpool sign Clyne for £12.5M. They really are not messing around, although everyone knows that making too much changes to your squad in one window might not work that well initially. This Clyne's comment "this is a place where I can improve as a player" made me think why doesn't he think he could improve at So'ton. Poor So'ton seems to be losing their first team players every year, but luckily they've got a good academy and seem to be buying good players that doesn't cost so much.
