Your wish has been granted 😂😂

Yes, great result. But now I think I've changed my mind on the back of it. Now they are still level with us on points and Chelsea are seven behind us, I don't want them beating Chelsea any longer, I don't think. :ROFLMAO:

I'm thinking we will get something on Sunday against Sunderland, so I don't wantr manure getting any more than a point down at Chelsea now.

Yes, we have to look up now, not down. The only good thing about looking down is you don't step in any dogshit.

PSG, Barca, Bayern & Real all play great, watchable attacking football but Arsenal [without playing a top team until the final] will probably win it when 3 lumps barge the keeper over the line for an own goal after a free kick

Lots of talk anout Luv collapsing because of the oil crisis, do you think our Geordy friends will be a tad nervous if PIF does the same? They may Sob….

I've been under the impression that the Arabs haven't been spending money on Newcastle and it looked like they were going to have a bit of a sale on this summer anyway. Bruno G, Gordon and Tonali were all expected to leave before this war started.

Think they are also hamstrung by PSR & SCR to be fair. Players will know this and may want out to somewhere where they feel they can win bigger prizes than the league cup - same problems as ourselves

Those two should be in the final, Arsenal and Atleti shouldn't even be in with a shout. They haven't even won their own leagues
Arteta has built a shit version of Simeone’s style. I don’t he has the bollocks to go full tilt into it either. Simeone is an Argentine shithouse, I feel like we’re about to see an all timer performance from Atleti.

Not hamstrung by SCR yet, a juicy problem there is they’re about to come under UEFAs overview without even being in the competition anymore.

The rules are shit but god is it good when it happens to someone else.

Thanks for the link. It's an interesting article. I'm surprised that Newcastle have needed £100m a season from the PIF. Their spending has been much more modest than I was expecting when the Saudis took over.

Newcastle have a big stadium and a big fan based. Are they very badly run?
Don't forget they can't charge £60 plus a game up there, you can still buy a house for 90k. They've only just had electricity and some inside toilets, working men's clubs still exist. It's proper backwards place.

The thing that interested me was that it was always in PIF's plan to sell Newcastle, I wasn't expecting that.

I heard some guys talking about Chelsea's bad business model and how they were expecting Clearlake to sell in 4 years since that's what VCs do.

The problem for Clearlake is that their business model is shit and they haven't added any value to the club.

Clearlake has Saudi money in it too.

Just the one game tonight that may hold any significance. Coventry go to Blackburn looking to secure promotion, which they effectively have already.

There are no teams in the p/o spots that could attain more points than them and only Millwall could get the same number they have now if Coventry don't score another point and Millwall don't drop one.
But with a 31 goal difference, that's irrelevant as well as virtually impossible in terms of wins and losses. :ROFLMAO:

So, it's all about whether they go up as Champions of the division but that's more of a when rather than if. Again, it would take some collapse for Ipswich to pass them but there are enough points available to do it.

I certainly won't be watching it. The only real interest that division will generate now is who gets second, which of two or three avoids the drop, including the Baggies and ultimately who gets through the playoffs and comes up third.

Whatever happens, I do not want any more London teams in the PL.
