Eddie Howe leaves role as Bournemouth head coach by mutual consent.


The 42-year-old has managed the Cherries in more than 450 games across two spells at Vitality Stadium spanning more than a decade.
Howe, who also made more than 300 appearances as a player for Bournemouth, reached the decision after talks with club officials on Saturday.

Smith deserves to carry on - but that might of put a thought in the owners heads...Be interesting to see if Howe is still unemployed come January.
 
Unless Bournemouth pull off a masterstroke now, I'd actually imagine that might be them gone. No way he needed to walk despite a poor season.

His record is mixed though, he fitted with them, that's why I say coaching staff, let him settle without pressure (if he did walk he's seriously doubting himself) but cruelly we look to the future in the process in a way JT isn't. I actually think him and DS (with scruffy bloke who with no offence I can never remember the name of) wouldn't actually make a bad team.
