Other Clubs News Discussion Thread 2

In recent weeks the feeling has been results have gone our way, in fairness they did but it was nothing to do with us. Tonight WHU took a massive step towards survival, they do have quality players and if it comes to the last day of the season we're fucked.

It's us or Watford.
It's us.....

I watched the game as well, and you are being utterly ridiculous. West Ham went for it and got what they deserved. If we'd gone for it against Chelsea, we might have won as well. But we sat back and fucked it up.

West Ham hardly went for it; 29% of the play. One of those games that Chelsea ought to have won comfortably.

West Ham looked to get forward for much of the game and took their chances when they were offered. Possession stats are pretty meaningless if you make the most of your time on the ball. Which West Ham did.

Chelsea ought to have won the game because they are in the top four and West Ham are in the bottom four. Chelsea ought to have won because they have won four of their last six and West Ham have lost four of their last six.

West Ham are better than us. They’ve been playing poorly but generally they have better and more experienced players.

Looking at the fixtures we know other sides will pick up points. This is why it was so disappointing to draw our relatively easier looking games with Sheff Utd and Newcastle. It has really cost us. We might have had a chance if we had won one or even both.

OK, West Ham have been playing poorly. We have been playing poorly. Can't see the difference.

Clubs promoted to the Premier League for the next two seasons will receive £8m less than expected. The reduction is because of a £330m rebate the league has agreed to pay broadcasters because of the temporary suspension of the current season due to the Covid-19 crisis.
