I am a little bit perplexed

Fuck same turned that game off too cause it was shite. Saw one goal all night after watching 73 mins of nothingRomero with an overhead kick to make 2-2 was not something I thought I'd be saying half an hour ago.
Based on how criminal the keeping was it was more Escape from AlcatrazThat was the worst overhead kick goal in the history of football.
Was no Pele in Escape to Victory was it.
No.1 Gilbert the Alien From Get Fresh ImpersonatorHaaland just broke some record or something
I believe it's pronounced "knobhead".Good thing we didn’t sign Paqueta, the guy is a fucking headcase
Can't agree, mate. The pissed up fans surging into the ground last minute have to shoulder some of the blame, the poor fuckers at the front who had taken up their positions 30 mins before KO, like we were always advised to do back then, have to take some blame. Fans rioting and general bad behaviour that led to the fences in the first place. There are lots of reasons it happened, hence it's never going to be conclusive; you can't pin it on one thing. which is what fans want. It won't bring back my mate Andy no matter what they decided. In fairness the police did get the blame but a bunch of them escaped on a technicality. I also struggle to understand how a few cases got thrown out but sometimes that’s happens. Sheffield Wednesday also went 10 years without a safety cert too but somehow they were cleared as well because of a lack of evidence.
I’ve no love for the scousers but ultimately if the cops handled it properly and the stadium was fit for purpose this wouldn’t have happened. I get their crusade.
I wasn’t alive at this time. It seems like the cops were successful in blaming the fans because people still believe it even though it’s been found multiple times it wasn’t their fault.
Came off his shin, but he won't care. Good result for us, as are all draws. That was the worst overhead kick goal in the history of football.

We win 1-0 and everyone else draws every game we win the league

Its mad, 7 pts between Chelsea in 3rd and Fulham in 15th. We have to hang on until Ollie wakes up, or we can add some quality in January. Our attack looks unsustainable, with over 50% of our goals coming from outside the box.And as yesterday's wish list post went pretty well, I'll do one for tonight too. And I do this on the realistic basis of us having a tough away game that we'll do well to come away with points.
Arse v Brentford: Heart says Brentford win to peg back Arse but Brentford have been a dangerous wild card this season. A win puts them two points behind our current position, so head says draw.
Burnley v Palace: No brainer for a win for Burnley but a draw is is the best outcome we could realistically hope for, I think.
Wolves v Forest: A meaningless game in terms for us but I'd happily see a Wolves win to keep Forest down there. I'd be delighted to see them relegated. I despise Maranakis.
Leeds v Chelsea: Another game where a draw isn't what we'd want in a perfect scenario. Leeds will be down there all season but if they can take something from Chelsea, let's have it.
Bin Dippers v Sunderland:Fuck it. Let's have Sunderland do them, just for the lulz, even if it isn't a good result for us.
I´d try for the striker from Wolves. But I don´t know whether he has a release clause or what our budget is. I guess we need to get our new guy to pull a fairly large rabbit out of the hat. Loans are too risky, they are usually players not playing because the selling team can´t sell them. Its mad, 7 pts between Chelsea in 3rd and Fulham in 15th. However, we're doing what has always been said: if you are solid defensively, you always have a chance. 2nd-best defense in the league after Set Piece FC and 2nd or 3rd-best defense by "xG from Open play". We've done a 180 from Unai's 2nd second where we were free scoring but conceded 60 league goals in a season. 11 conceded in 13 at the moment, putting us on track to have only 35-40 goals against come the end of the season.
In terms of other teams. I think we want United, Newcastle and Liverpool to lose as many games as possible. The rest of the league will take care of itself IMO.
An example for me is United vs. Spurs. Both finished woefully low last year but United went and bought real quality up top. Mbuemo alone is mitigating a lot of Amorim's stupidity. Spurs don't have match match-winning quality like that. Newcastle will be back up and around us, theres hysteria around them but if they keep Hall and Livramento fit they'll eat up ground and get back in the picture. Liverpool have so much quality, if they can afford to spend and get a proper DM and a good CB they'll be back above us too.
IMO this is all starting to look like the 90s again. The difference a manager can make is significant but the quality of player some teams have access to mitigates a lot of weaker coaches. Slot and Amorim, in particular, will benefit from this. Slot should be able to coach his team better defensively but he can't and he'll fix it by buying more players. I think Frank would be the one sitting pretty had he got Mbeumo at Spurs like he wanted and not Amorim. Imagine we could give Unai one more dangerous attacker like Rashford or Mbeumo. It feels like Unai has been coaching 10 men for 3 years because at any one time there is always one attacker who is just nowhere near the level of the rest.

And for that reason I'm sure we'll try to do something to help Unai in January. We may not manage it but I think they, the people who can at the Club, will do everything possible to strengthen. They know as well as we do what an unusually wide goal we are getting to aim at the season.Imagine we could give Unai one more dangerous attacker like Rashford or Mbeumo.
