It would probably be a good choice except they have zero infrastructure or planning at any level. Barnsley from the very small understanding I have are setup similar to Brentford but they are in the early innings. Big Sam is the type for WBA, they need someone who can run the club because the owner's arent running it. (except into the ground / league 1)
Sam said when he left them at the end of the season that he is not the man to take them forward. Lets face it he does'nt need to, why take the full time aggro when he can just wait until somebody comes along and says can you help us for just a few months. West Brom are in a mess, they have a stubborn chairman who just blames everybody else and wants to run the club his way whether its right for the club or not. Can only end badly.
