Other Clubs’ News and Gossip

When everyone is bleating about City’s owners these are the real ones they should be concerned about. But that doesn’t suit the narrative does it?
Sometimes an owner takes on a Club, and then for many reasons business turns bad. They end up trying to juggle debt and raise more money. I am sure the administrators will find a new owner to take on Wednesday. The Club is not dead, buried and cremated just yet.

Wolves sack yet another manager.:clown:

I guess the Chinese owner feels he has nothing to lose as they are doomed at present. The real fault lies with the board who have sold their best players year after year to finance the club, now they are in real trouble. A new broom may turn the tide, but I doubt it.

Wishing KDB a full recovery.

I have nothing but admiration for the contribution that Red Kev made at City, but the timing to move him on has proved correct, modern day football is ruthless.

Wolves sack yet another manager.:clown:

Wolves executive chairman Jeff Shi commented: "Vitor and his team worked tirelessly for Wolves and helped guide us through a challenging period last season, for which we are grateful.

"Unfortunately, the start to this season has been a disappointment and, despite our strong desire to give the head coach time and matches to find an improvement, we have reached a point where we must make a change. We thank Vitor and his staff for their efforts and wish them the very best for the future."

Being as Arse run the Premier I expect the change to be made
Ah bless. Would not be surprised if the PL fold.

I always remember when City under Pellegrini faced an away CL fixture {in the depths of Siberia or somewhere close} on a Tuesday after playing Chelsea on a Sunday. Request denied.

(Although this may have been a FA Cup match vs Chelsea the point remains the same - the authorities denied the request and Pellers played several youth players - for which he then got criticised. City lost the Chelsea game. Just.)

I hope Chelsea are relegated:

What amuses me about this is that there’s a hint of “oooh, aren’t they good - they reported themselves” whilst no one is discussing how they got away with the rule breaches under Abramovich for so long without ANY enquiries being undertaken into the dodgy financing.
