'Here it`s always very, very difficult. Today the conditions didn`t suit the way we play but it`s not an excuse. These conditions don`t suit the way we play because obviously we want to pass the ball and obviously the wind wasn`t helpful - but this isn`t an excuse. We have to forget about this game and focus on the next game in a couple of days.'

sounds like an excuse to me. :doh!:

Utter nonsense Nicolas. Both their goals came from positive attacking play and some pin point passing. The wind was the same for both teams and did affect how it dropped and moved but we failed to deal with it and they did.

This sort of delusion and denial does not do anyone any good. I would rather they fronted up and admitted they were pants and will give their weeks wages to a charities for Christmas.

Just saw the goals again today - can't believe how Kolarov just gives up once Shaqiri takes the outside route! He half heartedly starts to chase him and then just takes his foot off the gas and stops. **cking unbelievable if I hadn't predicted it.

The entire performance summed up in just one act.

Nonsense from Otamendi - both on and off the pitch. Well done Stoke for doing so well what we usually excel at.

And don't get me started about Kolarov....
