We will be having new forums in the not too distant future (and a lovely new front page, far more modern)

The forums will be cool, easy to use, similar to this, but easier to embed youtube, twitter etc and easier for us to manage (as these stopped being developed in 1999)

In this process, I'm looking at how we do the forums. I don't think open terrace works not enough go into it and actually, we have the 'other football talk' thread here and I'd not object that much to a few other debates about football in general (we could just mark 'Non Villa' so others who don't give a toss could avoid.

Thoughts? Time to delete?

Think the others work, the members only forum isn't busy but does have a useful depression lifeline thread not open to casual readers (you have to be logged in) so I have no objection keeping that as it is.

And WItton Lane, I like, I enjoy the different topics in there, just wish a few more would visit it.

Yeah, definitely think Open Terrace has run its course - barely used in the past 12 months.

Witton Lane is my favourite forum actually, far more level headed discussion (unless we're talking Trump/Hillary/conspiracies :3: ) than 100%.

Anyway I agree with JPA , The last post in Open Terrace was June 2017 , and that in itself tells it's own story.

I'd dump the front page and put those articles as thread starters on the forum as comments are often either diluted by appearing on one or the other or get repeated by appearing on both.
