Open Letter To Russell Brand From RBS Worker

Those that should have been punished weren't is the problem I think.

If THEY had been, maybe the mud wouldn't be being slung to ALL (which as we've established, is never a good word when talking about any collective!)

Russell Brand is sticking up for people that can't afford to live in London due to the prices sky rocketing and folk being pushed out of there area where they and their family grew up in previous generations, so i would like to know how this makes him a bad person in anyway lol, honestly the poor get walked over all the time but i guarentee these people that slag Brand off if it were there homes and areas that was being lost due to the givernment doing nothing to stop the same thing happening as is in London they would not slag Russ off imo ;)

Clive - Sorry pal but you can't keep crying looking for Mr.Cameron to keep wiping your dribbly nose. This is life and you are here to live it. The only restrictions EVERY man, woman and child has in life - is Govern.

If some had their way we would be driving around in Rover, living in a council house, all holidaying in Brighton & all taking the same wage packet home.

Thankfully Mrs.Thatcher came along and EVERYONE has the opportunity to buy a mansion, buy a Porsche and holiday in the Maldives. And when I say EVERYONE = what I mean is, that you have a chance to do those things because of less controlling powers of being Governed. Even if you only get to own a 2nd hand mini, an ex council house on an estate and a weekend trip to Western - you are still free.

The ladder is there for EVERYONE - the worst thing to happen would be to take it away and become North Korea.

I cant afford a Mansion in London, a Porsche, a holiday in the Maldives every year - but I like the idea that the goal can be achieved. I hate the idea of shut doors, hands off, your not allowed as we control you.

Brand is jealous because some people are higher up his materialism ladder than what he is. He wants them to be controlled, downsized and their wealth spread out. - Yet to that, you are adding control to a person's life. The best policy is to privatise everything and let the consumer(the people) have the voice.

GT dude my nose has stopped running today but close ;)

This freedom you mention dude where we all have our own destiny in our own hands and can climb the ladder fairly as we choose is not accurate, i don't want Cameron to wipe my nose for me maybe my arse though then he will be mingling with his own kind, but the point remains should people be outpriced where they live? No way is that fair, splitting up families has been happening to this country for generations and this will be the final nail in the coffin mark my words as family spirit made Britain Great lose it and there is no hope.

Look at Brand properly Clive: Read the letter?. Basically Brand is not even getting at the right people. He was having a go at a worker who had nothing to do with it.

Quite funny!

Which is more than can be said for Brand.

On Brands facebook page he has issued a response. Personally I have been a massive fan of Brand ever since he came out and he is one of my favourite comedians. I agree with his standpoint on these issues, whilst maybe not whole heartedly. He is trying to stick up for people he sees being down trodden, he is not jealous of high earning bankers at all when he earns more than them.

Read his response

Who takes seriously the opinion of a "comedian" when it comes to politics? Is this the celebrity culture we have to live with these days? Anybody asked The Crankies their opinion on the EU fisheries policy recently?

Interesting that he appears to be making a difference for some people.

We listen to comedians all the time wurzel, they fill the House of Commons and moo, or the House of Lords and rattle their jewellery!

Balls, can't cut and paste since the last iPad update. Fed up of this thing!

Was a story in the independent about a campaign not to evict some tenants will try to remember to link tomorrow.

Interesting documentary available on bbc catch up, at least on the sky thing, about the war on drugs by him as well.

no problemo.

I love the way the right wing media refer to Brand as a cult, I can see why he's bad for their business. It's just a shame those douchebags don't realise they're cult's too, well, with 1 letter difference :5:
