Leading Liverpool fans' group Spirit of Shankly have now held their vote on the topic of the introduction of safe standing and the vote was in favour.

Everyone stands at away games so this is a no brainer.

I used to long for standing at football matches but to be honest I'm 60 next birthday can I have a seat please. I remember listening to a couple of American Commentators chatting a couple of years ago..... when they found out "Soccer" grounds were standing and the average supporter would stand for the match + time before kick off they were astounded that people would choose to stand for so long.

I'm guessing that there would be standing sections e.g. Lower holte at villa park, with the rest of the ground fully seated

Yes , that's the plan I believe. It's much safer than how standing is currently so to me it's a no brainer.
