The arrival of Brett Pitman from Ipswich took the out and out striking options Pompey have to five - one too many for Blues boss Kenny Jackett, who is now looking to offload one.

Although I feel he adds something different, a Plan B to our attack, I do feel that Smith will be top of KJ's list of offloadees. Main has been decent in pre-season, but I'd still imagine he'd be 4th in the pecking order behind Pitman, Chaplin and Kabamba.

It's also worth remembering IF we have an injury crisis which sees our 4 main strikers out, Naismith and Lowe have proved they can fill those boots if need be.

Having made it clear the arrival from Ipswich of (now captain) Pitman meant a forward could leave Fratton Park, Smith is seen as the odd one out in four for Pompey boss Jackett.

80-odd % agree Smith is the man to go Frippy.

I've got a feeling - great to score five goals mind - Kabamba might need a loan if he's not going to play enough next season. It'll benefit him and Pompey if he can join a League Two club, ideally League One that ISN'T a direct rival/threat to the Blues.

Agreed though, with Naismith and Lowe able to fill in if, or when, Smith goes think we'll be fine, even if Kabamba did too? Another arrival would be likely if both went though.
