........if one feels the need to hate, one simply hates.

That is all.

I don't hate anyone, or anything. I do dislike things though. I hope that helps

Hate is a very strong word.

I'll get shot down by one or two I suppose, but I hate ISIS or whatever they are called these days. Other things/persons I dislike, but they can change from time to time.

Its the learnings you hate POL, not the militants themselves - who are just the effect(the reaction) from the learnings.

Which is really what this thread is about - causality.

VOTN - is simply struggling to come to terms that people react(effect) in different ways because of reason(cause). So YES, if one is to hate then one hates because of their make up & learnings, or genes & nurture.

But effect can change, if you change the cause = This is in genes as well as in nurture.

Oh...sorry its a grammar thread(boring). Thought it was going to be an in depth discussion of why people hate.

I "hate" grammar.

A few things I hate - ISIS, rape, Hitler, wars, it's okay to hate things like that, that's what the word was invented for, it means to intensely dislike something -

Hate

noun

intense dislike.
"feelings of hate and revenge"
synonyms: loathing, hatred, detestation, dislike, distaste, abhorrence, abomination, execration, resentment, aversion, hostility, ill will, ill feeling, bad feeling...........

I just love the irony of you calling anything boring GT.

Yes, finally, someone has cottoned onto it being a grammar thread. I know it's not cool to use correct grammar but without it society would crumble. Ok, so good grammar is not essential for everyone but it certainly helps to aid good communication, something I and many others value.

I try my best to be grammatically correct, I am intelligent enough to know it, couldn't be bothered to apply myself at school and have therefore suffered since in life as a result, so I think I'm good at writting words in senternces but not perfect all ways!!

I like to pull people up on their poor spelling/grammar as a petty pleasure, sometimes I make a prick of myself, I once pulled someone up for putting - White Heart Lane on Facebook, I 'corrected' it - Harte, and my other mate corrected me - Hart, pmsl, what a dick.

Anyway, in all seriousness, everyone on this planet is far better educated than at any time in history, in the big scheme of things grammar is extremely unimportant to the masses. However, for an important legal documents it could be the difference in how a judge sentences someone, it's all relevant. But poor grammar, won't end the world.

It's a regular thing for dem datz down wid de kidz innit.

Example please.

I can't recall having seen this particular slaughtering of our lovely language.
