Vital Reserves Team
With both Oliver and Laing's loan periods coming to an end in January, it's hard not to start thinking about whether they should be kept on or not.
For me, Laing has sadly far too often been the weakest link in the defence. He hasn't hit the height of his last loan spell and I feel sorry for Audel who has consistently performed well in defence on the few occasions he has been given a chance.
As for Oliver, he offers a different approach when he can be brought off the bench but apart from Grimsby, where he turned the game superbly, I've seen little from him to suggest he is a long term prospect for us.
It's easy to be negative so soon after our heaviest defeat of the season, but I think in both cases we should say thanks for their efforts and move on in January.
Who would you keep/let go?
